ProductBurst platform help — product launch and discovery platform for startups with daily and weekly rankings. Covers product submission (launch in under 5 minutes, no gatekeepers), daily/weekly leaderboard rankings (not single-day like Product Hunt), community upvoting, Top of Day/Week badges (shareable SVGs), featured homepage placement (one-time fee), do-follow backlinks (DR46), comment threads, idea validation without a full build, and marketplace. Use when your product isn't getting noticed on launch day, your ProductBurst listing isn't ranking, you need visibility without Product Hunt's gatekeeping, or you want a do-follow backlink from a DR46 directory. Do NOT use for general launch strategy across multiple directories (use /sales-launch-directory), email marketing (use /sales-email-marketing), or audience growth (use /sales-audience-growth).

Helps the user with ProductBurst platform questions — from launching a product and climbing the daily/weekly rankings through featured placement, community engagement, and maximizing backlink value.
If references/learnings.md exists, read it first for accumulated knowledge.
Ask the user:
What do you need help with?
What stage is your product?
What's your goal?
If the user's request already provides most of this context, skip directly to the relevant step. Lead with your best-effort answer using reasonable assumptions (stated explicitly), then ask only the most critical 1-2 clarifying questions at the end.
If the request maps to a specialized skill, route:

ProductBurst is a product launch platform where founders submit products, the community upvotes them, and top products earn daily and weekly rankings. Unlike Product Hunt's single-day launch window, ProductBurst gives products ongoing ranking opportunities.
Key difference: No gatekeepers — you can launch in under 5 minutes. Products don't need editorial approval to go live.
| Ranking | How it works | Benefit | |---|---|---| | Top of the Day | Most upvoted product each day | Badge (shareable SVG), homepage visibility | | Top of the Week | Most upvoted product each week | Badge (shareable SVG), extended visibility |
Advantage over Product Hunt: Products can rank multiple days/weeks, not just on launch day. A product that gains traction slowly still has a shot at Top of the Day on any given day.
ProductBurst allows posting ideas and concepts without a fully built product. This makes it useful for:
Every product page includes a comment thread where:
ProductBurst includes a marketplace section for products and services, extending beyond simple directory listings.

| Step | What to do | Why it matters | |---|---|---| | 1. Prepare your listing | Clear name, problem-focused tagline, compelling description | First impression drives upvotes | | 2. Include your URL | Working landing page with clear CTA | Converts visitors from ProductBurst | | 4. Time your launch | Post early in the day for maximum daily ranking window | More hours = more upvote accumulation | | 5. Engage in threads | Respond to every comment, ask for feedback | Active makers get more community support | | 6. Share externally | Post your ProductBurst listing on Twitter, communities | External traffic drives upvotes |
Unlike Product Hunt where everything rides on one day, ProductBurst rewards sustained engagement:
ProductBurst works best as one platform in a broader launch:
If you're pre-build:
Best-effort from research — review these, especially items about plan-gated features and integration gotchas that may be outdated.
Very new platform. ProductBurst launched recently (~2025) and has minimal web presence. Traffic levels are not documented. Don't expect Product Hunt-level visitor numbers.
Built on Bubble.io. The platform is a no-code app, which means no public API, no programmatic access, and potential performance limitations during high traffic.
Featured placement pricing is opaque. The exact cost for homepage featured placement is not publicly listed. You'll need to check the platform directly.
No editorial review means lower curation. The "no gatekeepers" approach means anyone can list anything. Quality varies — your listing competes with everything from polished SaaS to rough concepts.
Backlink DR is modest. DR46 is lower than Product Hunt (DR91), SideProjectors (DR69), MicroLaunch (DR59), and LaunchingNext (DR51). The backlink has value but shouldn't be the primary reason to list.
Idea-stage listings may dilute signal. Because ideas without working products are allowed, the platform mixes validated products with concepts. Buyers/users may be skeptical.
No contact email publicly available. If you need support, you may need to use the platform's built-in messaging or social channels.
Self-improving: If you discover something not covered here, append it to references/learnings.md with today's date.

Symptom: Product is listed but barely getting any community engagement Cause: ProductBurst is a newer platform with less organic traffic than Product Hunt or even MicroLaunch. Without external promotion, listings may get minimal organic discovery. Solution: Don't rely on organic discovery alone. Share your ProductBurst listing on Twitter, relevant subreddits, Indie Hackers, and your email list. Engage with other products on the platform — comment, upvote, provide feedback. Active community participation increases your visibility. Consider the paid featured placement for guaranteed homepage exposure.
Symptom: Submitted a product but it's not showing in daily or weekly rankings Cause: Rankings are based on upvotes. New listings with zero upvotes won't appear in Top of the Day or Top of the Week. The platform lists products chronologically, but rankings are vote-driven. Solution: Upvotes are the currency. Share your listing immediately after posting. Ask your network to check it out (don't explicitly ask for upvotes — ask them to look and provide feedback). Engage in comment threads on other products to build reciprocal community relationships.
Symptom: Unsure whether to invest time in ProductBurst when Product Hunt has more traffic Cause: Product Hunt has significantly higher traffic (DR91, massive user base) but also higher competition and a single-day pressure window. ProductBurst has less traffic but ongoing ranking opportunities. Solution: They're not mutually exclusive — use both. Launch on ProductBurst first as a soft launch to refine your messaging, gather feedback, and build initial social proof. Then launch on Product Hunt with a polished listing and lessons learned. ProductBurst's daily ranking model means there's no downside to listing — it's free, takes 5 minutes, and gives you a DR46 backlink regardless of ranking performance.

UpViral platform help — viral referral marketing and list-building platform (by Emarky) for viral sweepstakes, giveaway/reward campaigns, pre-launch waiting lists, and milestone referral programs, with REST API (app.upviral.com/api/v1/), callback-URL webhooks, PHP SDK, fraud detection (IP-based suspicious-referral flagging), A/B testing, smart leaderboards, unlockable incentives, and 30+ native ESP/CRM integrations (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, ConvertKit, AWeber, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Intercom) plus Zapier/Make/Pipedream/Integrately/Pabbly. Use when UpViral campaigns aren't tracking referral points correctly, deciding between Starter $79/mo annual (10K leads, 1 brand, NO API) vs Business $119/mo (25K, 2 brands, API + webhooks unlocked) vs Premium $319/mo (100K, 5 brands, dedicated account manager), the API returns errors because you're on the Starter tier where API/webhooks are gated, building an UpViral→CRM or UpViral→data-warehouse pipeline with add_contact / get_leads / get_leads_points / add_points / get_custom_fields / lists methods (uvapikey + uvmethod form-encoded POST), interpreting fraud flags where same-IP referrals get marked suspicious and you must manually activate/delete/blacklist, setting up the Callback URL (webhook) to fire on reward-unlock events, Zapier New Lead / New Reward Unlocked triggers not firing, ClickFunnels/Shopify/funnel-builder integration breaking, the drag-and-drop page builder showing broken widgets or limited customization, the setup feeling long and complicated for your first campaign, or picking UpViral over Viral Loops / KickoffLabs / Vyper / Prefinery / Gleam / KingSumo / ShortStack for a viral campaign. Do NOT use for general newsletter audience growth strategy across all platforms (use /sales-audience-growth), newsletter monetization (use /sales-newsletter), KickoffLabs-specific help (use /sales-kickofflabs), no-code merge-tag newsletter referrals (use /sales-referralkit), SparkLoop paid recommendations (use /sales-sparkloop), or full-stack multi-level Level-1/2/3 referral/affiliate tracking (use /sales-referralhero).

ReferralHero platform help — full-stack referral, affiliate, waitlist, contest, and NPS platform with subscriber API, webhooks, Zapier, Mailchimp/Kit/AWeber/Klaviyo/ActiveCampaign/SendLane connectors, coupon codes, multi-level referral tracking (Level 1/2/3), anti-fraud, and 5,000 calls/hour rate limit. Use when ReferralHero campaigns aren't tracking referrals correctly, deciding between PRO $199/mo (10K members, includes API + webhooks) and PREMIUM $399/mo (50K members, adds ReCaptcha + SMS verification), authentication is failing with no_token or X-API-Key header is being ignored, multi-level referral counts (Level 2/3) aren't appearing for downline subscribers, coupon group endpoints return 404 or coupon arrays max out, hitting the 5,000 calls/hour soft limit and getting too_many_calls 429s, the Mailchimp/Kit native integration is double-adding subscribers, webhook payloads aren't firing on confirmation events, importing Stripe customer IDs through transaction tracking, generating reward fulfillment when subscribers cross milestone thresholds (promote/unlock_promoted_reward), comparing ReferralHero against SparkLoop/ReferralKit/Viral Loops/GrowSurf/KickoffLabs for referral marketing, or routing referral data via add_bulk_transactions (500-transaction batch limit). Do NOT use for general newsletter audience growth strategy (use /sales-audience-growth), general newsletter monetization (use /sales-newsletter), no-code newsletter-only referral with merge-tag insertion (use /sales-referralkit), SparkLoop's paid recommendations or partner network (use /sales-sparkloop), or affiliate program strategy across many platforms (use /sales-affiliate-program).

Use when KickoffLabs viral campaigns aren't tracking referrals correctly, deciding between Hobby $13/mo annual (500 leads/mo no A/B no reward emails) vs Premium $48/mo (2.5K + A/B + reward emails + tracking pixels) vs Business $99/mo (10K + custom email templates + custom domains + advanced reporting + 3 team) vs Enterprise $202/mo (25K + 5 team + SMS included), API key getting rejected because you embedded it in client-side JavaScript instead of server-side, can't decide whether to use v1 /subscribe vs v2 /tags/:TAG_ID/lead for lead creation, webhook payloads firing with `__fraudulent` flag and you need to interpret the duplicate_ip/bounced/duplidate_email reason codes (yes, duplidate is spelled that way in their docs), AnyForm script not posting to KickoffLabs vs native API endpoint, leaderboard endpoint returning more than 50 leads is not allowed, social_id (kid in share URLs) attribution chain breaking between v1 and v2, contest score vs lead count metrics in the webhook payload are confusing, SMS Verification only available on Premium+ as $50/mo add-on (Enterprise includes), per-month lead cap auto-upgrades at $8 per 1000 overage leads, picking between KickoffLabs and Viral Loops / UpViral / Prefinery / ReferralCandy / Voucherify for viral campaign type fit, or rate limit per tier (10-100 calls/minute) is hitting on bulk imports.
