Agent skills bundle instructions, conventions, and sometimes scripts so your AI assistant can do specialized work reliably. Most skills include a SKILL.md file at the root of the skill folder. You can scope skills to one repository (project path) or to your user account (global path), depending on the tool.
Paths in the reference table follow each tool's usual on-disk layout. Always confirm the latest location in your product's official documentation when you upgrade.

On a skill page, download SKILL.md or the full directory as a zip, or use the skillsauth CLI for installs that target the right agent folder. Full CLI reference: Documentation → CLI.
