Langfinity Platform Help

Step 1 — Gather context

Gotchas

Best-effort from research — review these, especially items about plan-gated features and integration gotchas that may be outdated.

• No public API, webhooks, or iPaaS connectors. Everything is UI-driven — you cannot programmatically create meetings, access transcripts, or trigger translations. No Zapier, Make, or CRM integration.
• AI voices don't replicate your actual voice. The AI voice avatars sound natural but don't capture the speaker's original tone, pitch, or emotional nuance — they're approximations, not voice clones.
• Not suitable for legal/contract discussions. AI translation accuracy (up to 98% claim) is not certified. For high-stakes negotiations requiring certified interpretation, use KUDO or Interprefy with human interpreters.
• Requires stable internet. Translation quality degrades significantly on poor connections — the real-time pipeline depends on low latency.
• Starter plan is limited to 1 language pair. For multilingual meetings (3+ languages), you need Pro (min 20 hrs/year) or Business.
• Domain customization availability unclear. The platform advertises company-specific terminology fine-tuning, but the process and plan requirements are not publicly documented — contact Langfinity sales.

Example 3: Langfinity translation lagging during a Zoom call

1. Explains that 1-3 seconds of AI translation latency is normal; 5-10 seconds suggests a network issue
2. Checks: is the speaker on Wi-Fi or wired? Wired connection is strongly recommended for speakers
3. Recommends closing bandwidth-heavy apps (screen sharing, video streaming) during translated calls
4. Suggests testing with a different meeting platform (Teams may have lower latency due to native integration)
5. If the problem persists, contact Langfinity support — server-side issues may be involved Result: Latency diagnosed with concrete steps to reduce it.

Troubleshooting

Translation accuracy poor for technical terminology

Symptom: Industry-specific terms (e.g., "tolerance stack-up", "process capability analysis") are mistranslated or garbled Cause: Default AI models are trained on general language; domain-specific jargon requires customization Solution: Contact Langfinity to explore domain-focused translation fine-tuning. Provide a glossary of key terms in each language pair. Test with a sample conversation before deploying to production meetings. If accuracy is critical for safety or compliance, consider supplementing with human interpreters via KUDO or Interprefy.

AI voice sounds unnatural or robotic

Symptom: The translated voice output doesn't match the speaker's tone or sounds mechanical Cause: AI voice avatars approximate natural speech but don't clone the original speaker's voice characteristics Solution: This is a current limitation of the AI voice technology. For presentations where speaker authenticity matters, consider using Langfinity's real-time captions (text) instead of voice dubbing. Alternatively, use human interpreters for high-profile meetings. Langfinity continues to improve voice quality — check if a newer voice model is available.

Translation cuts out or drops during meetings

Symptom: Translation stops mid-sentence, audio drops to silence, or reverts to the original language Cause: Network instability between the speaker, Langfinity's cloud processing, and listeners Solution: Ensure all key participants (especially speakers) use wired internet connections. Reduce video resolution if bandwidth is constrained. Check if your corporate firewall or VPN is blocking Langfinity's cloud endpoints — whitelist their domains. If using a VPN, try connecting without it. Test on a different network to isolate the issue.
