Complete the memory update process following Phase 3 in Guidelines/memory-consolidation-guidelines.md.

Process Guidelines

DO BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE: Follow all guidelines in Guidelines/memory-consolidation-guidelines.md

Prerequisites

Before proceeding, verify ALL three memory files exist in today's staging directory:

Memory/YYYYMMDD-memory-update/
├── memory-people.md
├── memory-work.md
└── memory-context.md

If any file is missing, STOP and inform the user which file(s) are missing. Do not proceed with consolidation until all three files exist.

Process

1. List staging directory contents to verify all three files present
2. If any missing: Report which files are missing and stop
3. Create Memory/YYYYMMDD-memory-update/memory-index.md:
   • Use the existing Curated-Context/System/memory-index.md as your template
   • Set "Last Updated" date to today's date
   • Set "Validation Completed" to false (will be toggled by /memory-validate process later)
   • Add canonical priority list (5-7 items)

Output

1. Create new Memory/YYYYMMDD-memory-update/memory-index.md file
2. Inform user to run /memory-validate next
