Process Slack exports from the queue:

1. List files in Raw-Materials/Slack/
2. Read all *.md files
3. Process and write the summary
4. Archive the processed files

Process

Follow the summary process in Guidelines/slack-summary-process.md.

Critical Rule

Base your summary ONLY on information directly present in the Slack export file:

• Do NOT incorporate information from memory files
• Do NOT use previous context or other sources
• Every claim must be supported by specific quotes or evidence from the export

If something seems relevant from memory but isn't in the export, exclude it.

Focus Areas

Extract insights that aren't captured in meetings or formal documentation:

• Strategic developments
• Technical insights
• Team dynamics
• Process observations
• Emerging patterns
• Cross-team coordination

Wikilinks

Apply Obsidian wikilinks to the output file per Guidelines/wikilink-guidelines.md.

Entity Updates

After writing the summary, update entity stubs for any new facts discovered in the Slack exports (per Guidelines/wikilink-guidelines.md § Stub Creation Rules, rule 6):

• People: Add timeline entries for role changes, departures, project shifts, or significant status changes mentioned in DMs or channels.
• Vendors: Add timeline entries for contract changes, migration milestones, contact changes.
• Projects: Add timeline entries for status changes, launches, key decisions.
• Teams: Add timeline entries for reorgs, membership changes.

Use the date the fact was discussed (from the Slack message timestamp), not today's date. Only update for confirmed facts, not speculation or casual discussion. Skip routine coordination messages.

Output

1. Create summary file as [YYYYMMDD]-slack-summary.md in Curated-Context/Insights/YYYYMM/. Extract the year and month from the date to form the YYYYMM/ path (e.g. 202602/). Create the subdirectory if it does not exist. Include YAML frontmatter with authorship: ai (see Guidelines/wikilink-guidelines.md § Authorship).
2. The date should reflect today's date
3. Archive the processed files: move from Raw-Materials/Slack/ to Archive/Raw-Materials/Slack/
