Live Deployment Verification Workflow
When multiple changes are batched and pushed to the live server, we use this checklist process to ensure nothing is forgotten.
For the Agent (Me)
- Log the Changes: After a successful push, I must read the recent
git logand ourtask.mdto compile a comprehensive, bulleted checklist of everything that was altered. - Warn about Pipeline: I must explicitly remind the USER to verify the Google Cloud Build pipeline status (green checkmark) before performing the live site checks.
- Present the Checklist: I will present this exact checklist to the USER in my response.
- Wait for Confirmation: I will not proceed to new features until the USER confirms the pipeline succeeded AND the live site testing is complete.
For the User
- Verify Pipeline Status: Gå ind i Google Cloud Console -> Cloud Build -> History og bekræft, at bygge-jobbet for det seneste commit har fået et grønt flueben (✅). Stop her, hvis det er rødt, og send fejlloggen til Agenten.
- Wait for Live Update: Hvis bygge-jobbet er grønt, check sidens footer (
SYS_UPDATED) for at bekræfte den nyeste kode er live. - Execute Checklist: Go through the checklist provided by the agent. Open the live URLs and perform the visual or functional tests.
- Report Back: Tell the agent either "alt testet ok" to proceed, or report any bugs.
