Revise the plan without starting over.
Prerequisites
.planning/PLAN.mdmust exist- Ideally, the problem is documented in
.planning/current-phase/ISSUES.md
What happens
- The forge agent reads PLAN.md, tasks/, ISSUES.md, PROGRESS.md
- Displays the problem and asks: "Is the architecture affected?"
- If yes: updates ARCHITECTURE.md, DECISIONS.md, and rules if needed
- Re-plans remaining tasks (completed tasks
[x]are preserved) - Compares old and new plan: identifies orphan files from removed tasks
- Displays orphan files — you decide: delete or keep each one
- verify-plan.js + semantic checks on the revised plan
- You confirm the revised plan
- Updated PLAN.md + tasks/*.xml are written
Result
- Revised
.planning/PLAN.mdand.planning/tasks/ - Orphan files handled
- Architecture docs updated if needed
Invoke the forge agent in revise mode.
