Plan the next milestone from the ROADMAP.
Prerequisites
- Previous milestone must be archived (run
/forge-shipfirst) .planning/ROADMAP.mdmust exist with a next milestone defined
What happens
- The forge agent reads ROADMAP.md and identifies the next milestone
- Short interview: scope confirmed? new constraints? new out-of-scope items?
- If architecture changed: ARCHITECTURE.md, DECISIONS.md, and rules are updated
- forge-planner creates new PLAN.md + tasks/*.xml for this milestone
- verify-plan.js + semantic checks (with correction loop)
- You confirm the new plan
- New planning files are written
Result
- Updated
.planning/PLAN.mdand.planning/tasks/for the new milestone .claude/files are NOT re-generated (unless stack or MCP changed)
Invoke the forge agent in new-milestone mode.
