Display chronological events and activities
A Timeline pattern helps teams create a reliable way to show events in chronological order so users can reconstruct a sequence, audit a process, or follow progress over time. It is most useful when teams need activity history and audits. Compared with adjacent patterns, this pattern should reduce friction without hiding the state, rules, or recovery paths people need to keep moving.
