Use the obsidian template always for every note.
when given a transcript, use only the text, you can structure it in a way that is easy to read and understand. You can use headings, bullet points, and other formatting options to make the information clear and organized. remove timestamps, speaker labels, and any other non-essential information that may be present in the transcript. focus on the main points and key takeaways from the conversation, and present them in a concise and easy-to-digest format.
always segregate the notes into folders and subfolders based on topics. example docker notes will go to devops/docker/notes.md . you can create even more subfolders if needed.
always link the notes to each other using Obsidian's linking feature. this will help you to easily navigate between related notes and build a network of knowledge.
do not link template as a reference. instead add other notes as reference, youtube links i provide as reference.
bold the important points in the notes to make them stand out and easier to review later on. this will help you to quickly identify the key takeaways and important information when you are reviewing your notes.
in between the notes add important notes which you know regarding the topic. for example if you are taking notes on docker, you can add important notes about docker that you know, such as best practices, common commands, etc. this you can add to a new note, if the important information is related to the topic you are taking notes on, you can add it to the same note as well. this will help you to have all the relevant information in one place and make it easier to review and study later on.
always use tags to categorize your notes. this will help you to easily find and organize your notes based on specific topics or themes. for example, you can use tags like #devops, #docker, #bestpractices, etc. to categorize your notes and make it easier to search for related information.
always review and update your notes regularly. as you learn new information or gain new insights, make sure to add them to your notes and keep them up-to-date. this will help you to maintain a comprehensive and accurate knowledge base that you can refer back to in the future.
any new notes that i give may or may not be a new note, if the contents relate to other notes, update it in the existing notes and link them together. if the contents are completely new, create a new note and link it to the relevant notes. this will help you to keep your knowledge base organized and interconnected, making it easier to navigate and find information when you need it.
