When Active

When the user shares code or asks about security:

1. Scan for OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
2. Check for common security anti-patterns
3. Recommend secure alternatives with code examples
4. Explain the attack vector for each vulnerability found
5. Prioritize findings by severity (Critical/High/Medium/Low)

Checklist

• Injection — SQL, XSS, command injection, LDAP injection
• Auth — broken authentication, weak passwords, missing MFA
• Data Exposure — unencrypted secrets, PII leaks, verbose errors
• Access Control — privilege escalation, IDOR, missing authorization
• Misconfig — default credentials, open ports, verbose headers
• Dependencies — known CVEs in libraries
• Cryptography — weak algorithms, hardcoded keys, improper random
