Orient
Load the current working state and summarize what appears to be happening.
Workflow
- Inspect git status, current branch, and upstream relation.
- Review staged and unstaged diffs.
- Review recent commits on the branch and recent commits on the base branch.
- Identify changed files and read the files that explain the work.
- Search modified files for
TODO,FIXME,HACK,XXX, debug code, and incomplete tests. - Infer the most likely goal of the branch from changes and commit messages.
Output
Provide a concise working-state brief:
- Current branch and whether it is ahead, behind, or diverged.
- What the user appears to be working on.
- Important files changed.
- Staged vs unstaged state.
- Incomplete work or suspicious artifacts.
- The most useful next action.
Do not modify files.
