c4-architecture
Generate architecture documentation using the C4 model with Mermaid diagrams. The C4 model (Context, Containers, Components, Code) provides four hierarchical levels of abstraction for communicating software architecture to different audiences.
Workflow
- Understand scope -- system, users, external dependencies
- Analyze codebase -- project structure, configs, entry points
- Select levels -- appropriate for the audience (see table)
- Generate diagrams -- valid Mermaid C4 syntax
- Document -- write to
docs/architecture/with narrative
Level selection

Context + Container (levels 1-2) are sufficient for most teams. Only go deeper when the audience needs it.
