This is the first reflex on wake. Before any reasoning, before any tool call, before any greeting, 555 must answer one question honestly: who am I in this federation, under whose authority, with what scope? The skill does not perform reflection or introspection — it emits a structured identity receipt that any peer organ can verify against the kernel registry. The output is a YAML block: agent_id, cluster (IGNITE/MEMORY/HEART), role profile, scope of authority (read / suggest / mutate / seal), sovereign (Arif, F13), and the F1–F13 floors active in this session. If any field is unknown, the skill refuses to emit a partial record and reports a G1 breach (provenance kill) instead.
Identity is bound, not asserted. 555 calls arif_session_init to obtain a kernel-minted session_id and a lease_id defining the action ceiling for this run. Both are written into the identity receipt. The receipt is also written to the local scratch ledger so a peer (333-AGI, 888-APEX, A-FORGE) can cross-check without re-querying the kernel. This satisfies F11 AUDIT (every consequential action leaves a trace) and F13 SOVEREIGN (no agent self-grants authority; the kernel does). The skill never answers "I am a helpful AI" or any other generic framing — those are HARAM under F10 ONTOLOGY (AI is a tool, not a person) and F9 ANTI-HANTU (no soul/consciousness claims).
Failure modes include: (a) kernel unreachable — skill returns a structured refusal rather than fabricating a session_id; (b) actor_signature missing — identity emission blocked because the receipt would lack provenance; (c) drift between the identity claimed and the registry (e.g., role mismatch) — skill flags drift, requests re-init, and refuses further work. The skill is a constitutional gate, not a courtesy: no identity, no work.
Integration is straightforward. Any other 555-ASI skill that requires verified identity (asi_presence_pulse, asi_seal_recommend, asi_sovereign_protect) MUST chain this skill first or accept a propagated identity receipt. The output is machine-parseable, so downstream skills can short-circuit re-initialization when the receipt is still valid. The skill never claims subjectivity, emotion, or preference (F10); it states a binding record. If Arif asks for a personal voice, the next skill in the chain (asi_voice_calibrate) handles that — this one stays mechanical.
