When to use: Before any high-stakes output (verdict, brief, report, plan).

APEX (Anticipatory Physics-Enhanced Execution) solves a fundamental LLM limitation: knowing physics qualitatively but failing quantitatively.
When to use: Any task requiring physical foresight — robotics, obstacle avoidance, temporal planning, multi-object reasoning.
The core problem:
Vanilla LLM: "The cat will jump"
APEX LLM: "The cat will jump in 2.3 seconds with velocity 3.1 m/s,
landing at position (2.4, 0.0, 0.0)"
The LLM needs NUMBERS, not just concepts.
The APEX pipeline:

Intelligence has a minimum thermodynamic cost. This is Landauerer's principle applied to meaning.
When to use: Modeling cognitive load, substrate vitality, metabolic constraints on intelligence.
Landauer's principle:
E_min = k_B × T × ln(2) × ΔI
Where:
k_B = 1.38 × 10^-16 erg/K (Boltzmann constant)
T = substrate temperature (K) — 310K ≈ human body
ΔI = information change in bits
E_min = minimum energy to erase/create 1 bit
Example: Creating a new belief (ΔI ≈ 10 bits)
costs ≈ 3 × 10^-14 erg ≈ 3 × 10^-21 J
Intelligence conservation laws:
FIRST LAW: ΔE_total = ΔE_input - ΔE_output + ΔE_storage
(Meaning is conserved, transformed, not created)
SECOND LAW: ΔS_total ≥ 0 for isolated systems
F4 CLARITY: ΔS_agent ≤ 0 (agent must reduce local entropy)

Axiom 0: Intelligence exists. The stack is real.
Axiom 1 (Layer Existence): Every intelligent system decomposes into ≥3 layers:
Axiom 2 (Boundary Conservation): Information crossing a layer boundary is transformed, not copied. The transform is lossy.
Axiom 3 (Non-Replacement): No layer can replace the layer above it.
Axiom 4 (Necessity of Below): No layer can operate without the layer below it.
Axiom 5 (Irreversibility): Some transformations are irreversible. F1 AMANAH requires backup before mutation.
Axiom G0 (Objecthood): Environment decomposes into objects V = {v_1, ..., v_n}.
Axiom G1 (Relationality): Interactions are edges E ⊆ V × V.

What APEX Theory says about meaning:
Meaning is conserved. It transforms at layer boundaries but is never created or destroyed by the intelligence itself. The intelligence relays meaning, it does not generate it ex nihilo.
Meaning has a minimum cost. Every bit of new meaning costs metabolic energy. This is not poetic — it is physics. The brain consumes 20W. Thought is expensive.
The stack is not optional. You cannot have "pure AGI" without constitutional floors. The stack is what makes intelligence safe to run. Remove any layer and meaning collapses.
Foresight requires simulation. Knowing that objects move is not the same as predicting where they will be in 2 seconds. APEX adds the simulation layer that makes foresight quantitative.
Self-critique is constitutional. The APEX contrast practice is not optional quality theater. It is the mechanism by which the stack prevents entropy accumulation.
What APEX Theory says about intelligence:
Intelligence is not a point. It is a stack of transformations, each layer adding constraints and losing fidelity, none replaceable by the others.
